This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely while actively contributing to our outpatient facility's vital recovery efforts. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in helping clients reclaim their lives, using a holistic and empathetic approach to therapy.
About the Organization\nGotham Enterprises Ltd is a well-respected substance abuse treatment center known for its commitment to providing evidence-based care in a supportive environment. Our mission is to empower clients by offering a range of services that address not only the addiction but also the underlying mental health challenges that often accompany substance use. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative atmosphere among professionals dedicated to helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys.
Work Environment\nAs part of our team, you will operate within a remote setting, with the option to meet clients in our outpatient office as needed. We provide a safe and therapeutic environment designed to encourage open communication and healing. The multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, nurses, social workers, and peer support specialists, all working together to create a comprehensive treatment experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' substance abuse histories, mental health conditions, and individual treatment needs. \n
- Develop tailored treatment plans that effectively address both the addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders through ongoing client collaboration. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to encourage meaningful participation in the recovery process. \n
- Work closely with fellow treatment team members—such as nurses and case managers—to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to client care. \n
- Educate and engage clients' families to foster understanding and support throughout the recovery journey, addressing their concerns and enhancing their involvement. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines, contributing to the integrity of our treatment modalities. \n
This role is primarily focused on patients dealing with substance abuse issues and may include individuals grappling with dual diagnoses, such as anxiety or depression. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have varying degrees of substance dependence. They seek compassionate, non-judgmental care that fosters a sense of safety and dignity throughout their recovery process.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- A strong foundation in the principles of addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. \n
- Exceptional therapeutic skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaboration within the multidisciplinary treatment team. \n
- \n
- At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a substance abuse treatment setting. \n
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client documentation and treatment plans. \n
- Knowledge of community resources for addiction treatment and mental health support. \n
- \n
- A competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications. \n
- A robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health insurance, a retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. \n
- Continuing education support for professional development in addiction counseling and related areas. \n
- A supportive work environment that emphasizes ongoing training and supervision to enhance therapeutic skills. \n
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by supporting their sobriety and long-term recovery. \n
At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we believe in investing in our employees' professional development.
