Golf Course Equipment Technician
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment utilized by the golf course maintenance department.
Duties:
- Lubricates and services all course maintenance equipment
- Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies
- Repairs and adjusts equipment
- Maintains repair records on all equipment
- Trains maintenance staff in proper equipment maintenance methods
- Demonstrates use of new equipment
- Trains personnel in proper use of equipment
- Establishes and maintains safety procedures for using equipment
- Maintains safety records
- Trains operators in care of new equipment
- Performs general overhaul and other preventive maintenance on all equipment
- Small engine repairs, i.e. mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, backpack blowers
- Minor golf car repair
- Tire repair
- Ability to operate a Foley Spin Grinder
- Initiates and implements safety regulation and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Hydraulic troubleshooting
