About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Must-Have: Strong experience in total joints and ENT required Description: - Experience in circulating and scrubbing in most surgical service lines is essential. - The unit has one suite with four operating rooms. - The number of cases per day varies per service line. - Common cases include total joints and ENT. - Additional service lines may include urology, podiatry, hand-orthopedics, plastics, and pacemakers. - There will be no night, weekend, holiday, or call requirements. - Staff will be required to stay late if cases are not completed during scheduled shifts. - Surgical scrubs will be provided, and specific attire requirements include dedicated shoes for the operating room, as well as hats and masks. - The schedule will rotate every 2-4 weeks with two different shift times. - The charting system used will be Epic. - Dedicated house supervisors will be scheduled 24 hours per day, and a charge nurse will be present when surgeries are conducted. - The environment is acute care focused.
