Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Base pay range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr This range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures.
