Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER)

Position Details:

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Floating: No
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekends: Required, typically every other weekend
• 48-Hour Workweek: Approved

Key Responsibilitie:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Active RN license appropriate for the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Ability to manage a 1:4 patient ratio in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Strong triage, assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency-response skills.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
