Senior Manager Finance Accounting

Ascension Search Partners has been engaged by a growing, international organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager. Our client operates in a project-driven environment with a strong presence across global markets, supporting complex initiatives for a diverse client base. With continued expansion in the U.S., this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced organization and work closely with leadership to help build and scale finance operations. This role will play a key part in managing core accounting functions while supporting financial reporting, operational activities, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial records Lead month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with payroll coordination and employee expense reporting Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation Generate internal financial reports and assist with analysis Support audits and liaise with external accountants and advisors Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership on financial initiatives Qualifications CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience in public accounting followed by 3+ years experience in a corporate or operational environment Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
