Performance Coach (Personal Trainer)

ABOUT US At Optimal Performance, we help high-achieving individuals

look better, feel better, and perform at a higher level — without sacrificing their lifestyle

.

Our coaching system integrates: Strength training. Nutrition guidance. Lifestyle coaching. Optimal Recovery. We work with

athletes and busy professionals

who want sustainable results — not quick fixes.

THE ROLE: As a Performance Coach, you’ll guide clients through a

high-level coaching, accountability, and support

— both on and off the floor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Coach Results-Driven Training Sessions: Lead 1:1 and small group training sessions. Teach proper form, movement quality, and progression. Adjust workouts based on client ability, injuries, and goals. Create an environment that is

challenging, supportive, and engaging. Bring

great energy to every session

— clients should feel motivated, encouraged, and better when they leave than when they walked in. Build Personalized Plans: Assess client goals, lifestyle, and starting point. Create structured training programs. Provide basic nutrition and habit guidance aligned with our system. Adjust plans based on progress and feedback. Drive Client Experience & Accountability: Build strong relationships with clients. Provide consistent feedback, encouragement, and direction. Hold clients accountable while maintaining a

positive, empowering environment. Track progress and celebrate wins. Help clients stay consistent — even outside the gym. Integrate Recovery & Lifestyle Coaching: Educate clients on the importance of recovery. Recommend use of Optimal Recovery based on goals. Support habits around sleep, stress, hydration, and consistency. Contribute to a High-Performance Team: Collaborate with coaches and leadership. Maintain a clean, organized training environment. Support gym operations and client experience.

to every session. Know how to

motivate without overwhelming or intimidating. Are passionate about helping people improve their lives through fitness. Can balance

empathy and accountability. Communicate clearly, confidently, and positively. Thrive in a team environment. Are growth-minded and open to feedback.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Personal training certification (preferred or willingness to obtain). CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Experience coaching individuals or groups. Ability to demonstrate proper exercise technique. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

BONUS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT A PLUS): Experience with body composition or transformation clients. Background in nutrition coaching or habit coaching. Experience working with athletes or busy professionals. Sales or client onboarding experience.

COMPENSATION: Starting:

$15–$20/hour

, based on experience based on experience plus opportunities to grow to $50+/hour. Further growth opportunities available based on performance, client retention, and leadership.

WHY OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE: Be part of a

proven coaching system

(not just random workouts). Work with clients who are committed and invested. Opportunity to grow into leadership, specialty coaching, or programming roles. Be part of a brand that blends

fitness, recovery, and lifestyle optimization.

OUR STANDARD We don’t measure success by how hard a workout is.

We measure it by: Client results. Consistency. Confidence. Long-term lifestyle change.

APPLY IF: You want to: Coach with purpose. Bring energy and positivity to every client interaction. Be part of something bigger than sessions. Help clients truly

transform their health, performance, and life.
