# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 2:1 patient ratio in a 15-bed Pediatric ICU

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with specialized pediatric critical care services
• Advanced pediatric intensive care unit serving complex patient populations
• Collaborative team environment including Intensivists, Respiratory Therapists, and multidisciplinary support staff
• Electronic Medical Records system utilizing Meditech and CPN platforms
• Typical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Exposure to CRRT and advanced pediatric critical care interventions

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas or compact state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications (current and valid)
• Preferred: CRRT experience, APHON certification, pediatric teaching hospital background
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced teaching environment
