Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Property Protection in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare and laboratory-related areas, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
