Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic : We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic with experience repairing diesel and hydraulic powered equipment. Candidates with fabrication and welding experience are strongly preferred.
Type of Equipment : Diesel powered drill rigs and mining machinery with hydraulic components and diesel powered vehicles
Work Environment : This is a small shop in western KCK so it will be a fairly laid-back environment but is part of a large company that can provide tools and parts when needed.
Responsibility Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment.
- Weld and fabricate parts and components as needed.
- Modify equipment based on project specifications.
- Periodically travel to project sites to help setup the equipment at the start of a new project.
Qualification Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel and hydraulic equipment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to meet physical requirements
- Valid driver's license
Shift: Daytime hours Monday-Friday, full-time position, some overtime expected
