Summary:

We are seeking an exceptionally organized, detail-driven Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience to provide very part-time support directly to our General Counsel. This position focuses on reviewing, redlining, and managing corporate contracts and standard agreements, paired with essential legal administrative duties.

With an estimated commitment of 5 to 10 hours per week , this role requires someone with top-tier organizational habits who can efficiently track moving parts across limited weekly hours.

Responsibilities :

• Agreement & Contract Review: Review, redline, and proofread routine corporate agreements (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, standard terms) under the direct supervision and guidance of the General Counsel.
• Corporate Document Maintenance: Assist in modifying, updating, and formatting corporate governance documents, resolutions, amendments, and compliance filings.
• System & File Organization: Maintain meticulous electronic filing structures, index legal files, track contract renewal and termination dates, and ensure document version histories remain organized and accessible.
• Typing & Formatting: Accurately type, revise, and format legal correspondence, memos, and agreements using advanced Microsoft Word features (e.g., Track Changes, version comparisons, styles).
• Administrative Legal Support: Coordinate signature collection and contract execution workflows (e.g., DocuSign), maintain digital legal repositories, and monitor active task lists.
• General Paralegal Duties: Conduct basic factual inquiries, pull relevant corporate records, and handle ad hoc legal operations support as requested by the General Counsel.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience & Legal Foundation: A minimum of 5 years of substantive paralegal experience, backed by a strong understanding of general paralegal practices, contract structures, and legal terminology.
• Technical Proficiency: Fast and highly accurate typing skills, paired with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and e-signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign).
• Organization & Detail: Exceptional organizational and proofreading skills, with the ability to maintain meticulous files, track deadlines independently, and exercise strict confidentiality.
