Clinical Informaticist Status: Part Time with Opportunity for Full Time (See Schedule Below) - Non-Exempt Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Evaluates: None Location: In Person - Red Lodge Campus Purpose and Scope of Position This position will assist with both clinical and technical information systems to enhance the end user experience. In conjunction with the IT Coordinators, the IT Clinical Support Specialist serves as a liaison between clinical operations and information technology teams, providing technical support for healthcare applications, hardware, software, and clinical systems. This role ensures clinicians and staff have reliable access to technology that supports patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals. The specialist troubleshoots technical issues, supports clinical workflows, assists with system implementations, and provides end-user education and support. Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or professional certification in information technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field required.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital or other medical facility
- Current Montana driver's license and ability to be insured
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Current Montana license as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Knowledge of Cerner is preferred
- Informatics certifications or credentialing are preferred
- Managerial Experience

- Part Time (20 hours per week in Clinical Informatics)
- Full Time (20 hours in Clinical Informatics & 10-20 hours in patient care or other assigned clinical roles)
