Maintenance Technician

Service TechnicianAxis Builders, a division of AXIS Real Estate Investment Firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a full-time Service Technician in Boone, IA. The applicant's responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at renovating, repairing, and maintaining rental units to ensure they meet high-quality standards and provide a comfortable living environment for tenants.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute renovation projects as per company guidelines and standards. This includes but is not limited to painting, flooring replacement, fixture installation, and minor carpentry work.Conduct routine inspections and perform repairs promptly as needed. Tasks may involve plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC maintenance, and addressing general wear and tear issues.Inspect, repair, and replace appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washing machines to ensure functionality and safety.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain clear and effective communication with property managers, tenants, and colleagues regarding maintenance requests, project updates, and any issues encountered during work assignments.Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and renovations performed. Document any materials used and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after hours emergencies, to address critical issues and minimize disruptions for tenants.Uphold high-quality standards in all renovation and maintenance work.
