Job Title: Practice Assistant Location: Melchiorre Cancer Center, 112 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Department: Radiation Oncology Req #: 0000247124 Employment Type: Hourly, Full‑Time, Shift: Day Pay: $21.00 - $25.50 per hour The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Administrative Services, performs all patient‑related clerical duties necessary to assist the healthcare team in providing patient care. Acts as a liaison between patients and the clinical team. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a physician schedule, typing, scanning, telephone triage, and other clerical functions relating to patient care. Ability to cross‑cover telephone assistant, pre‑auth, billing clerk, and check‑out.
