About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required, preferably within one location. License: Must have an active permanent Ohio license or an active compact state license in hand. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required. Must-Have: Must have experience working in the Cardiac Cath Lab as a nurse. Experience with Xper (Wit) and EPIC preferred. Must have an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation. Two references from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work four-day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Responsibilities include caring for patients undergoing diagnostic, intervention, and emergency cardiac catheterization cases. Additional duties may include covering the holding area and/or EP Lab. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition. The successful applicant will be completing specific assessments during the orientation period. All required certifications must be active without any pending issues. Travelers must have no license violations. A nicotine drug screen is required for non-nursing travelers. This role supports the multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular department.
