Teaching responsibilities may include business administration courses in entrepreneurship and related areas at the undergraduate level, with possible opportunities to contribute to the MBA program as well. This role includes curriculum development, coordination of experiential learning opportunities, and engagement with the regional entrepreneurial and business community. DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
• Teach entrepreneurship and related business courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
• The standard teaching load is nine courses annually (4-5), aligned with our mission as a teaching-focused institution. Opportunities for summer teaching may also be available.

• Develop and maintain partnerships with regional entrepreneurship organizations, business development entities, and the broader business community.
• Coordinate experiential learning opportunities such as pitch competitions, startup projects, and community-based ventures.
• Maintain qualifications consistent with AACSB Instructional Practitioner, Practice Academic, or Scholarly Practitioner status through ongoing professional engagement.
• Participate in student advising, mentoring, and recruitment activities.
• Participate in service activities at the college and university levels.
• Teach face-to-face, online, and at our extension campus in Rapid City.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate degree in entrepreneurship, business, or a related field, with significant professional experience in entrepreneurship, small business ownership or management, venture development, innovation and commercialization, local economic development, or a closely related area.
• Qualifications consistent with achieving and/or maintaining AACSB Instructional Practitioner (IP), Practice Academic (PA), or Scholarly Practitioner (SP) status. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successful experience teaching, particularly at the undergraduate level. • Experience founding, owning, or operating a business.
• Demonstrated record of engagement with entrepreneurial and economic development ecosystems, such as business incubators, accelerators, economic development organizations, or pitch competitions.
• Experience with curriculum development or program design in entrepreneurship or a related area. BENEFITS:
