PRIMARY CARE SPORTS MEDICINE PHYSICIAN OPPORTUNITY WITH KAISER PERMANENTE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Leading the future of health care Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG - Kaiser Permanente Northern California) is one of the largest multispecialty medical groups in the nation with over 10,000 physicians, 21 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California, and an 80-year tradition of providing quality medical care. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Lead PCSM physician for the San Jose Sharks and its AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda; responsible for game coverage of both teams and medical care for all athletes. Oversee concussion care for the Sharks and Barracuda. Full‑time practice of full‑scope PCSM within an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Department. No call responsibilities; no urgent care shifts. Required: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine training and Sports Medicine Fellowship. Department includes three other Sports Medicine physicians and four sports‑trained Orthopedic surgeons. Full spectrum ultrasound procedures supported with a strong referral base from a department of over 20 providers. Significant opportunity for resident education with a Family Medicine residency that rotates within the department for sports medicine training.
