divh2Technical Account Manager, Food Nutrition/h2pIMCD US is seeking a motivated Technical Account Manager to support our Food Nutrition business across the Central region of the US. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in technical sales, relationship building, and business development within a dynamic, customer-focused environment. As part of a global leader in specialty ingredients, you will help grow market presence and deliver value-driven solutions. Our commercial excellence and solid operations structure facilitate healthy growth./ppResponsible for developing and maintaining sales within a specific business unit utilizing the Key Sales Performance Indicator system and other tools made available within the organization. In conjunction with the Principal Managers, ensure that the business plans for each of our product lines are implemented./ppSuccessful candidates will be responsible to:/pulliSetting, regularly reviewing and revising Call Frequency Schedule/liliMeeting call plan set for each account/liliMaintaining Existing Business / Profit Contribution/liliMaintain and reporting on business on regular basis, review variances regularly and report/take action as required/liliEnsuring margin contribution is maximized (and maintained)/liliDeveloping / Progressing Targets/liliEvidence of new business being landed and new opportunities being added on a regular and consistent basis/liliBuilding / Cultivating Relationships/liliMinimum requirements thorough and complete understanding of the customers business/liliMulti-level relationship development initiated and planned by the sales representative/liliInvolvement of other IMCD personnel and principals/liliReporting submitted in a timely manner/liliFollow guidelines for information required for Existing Business reports/liliFollow guidelines for Target Business reports/liliThe sales representative is responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of their product/activity reports/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpSkills:/pulliCustomer relationship management/liliComplex organizational skills to coordinate and communicate between multiple customer contacts, internal resources and Principals/liliDevelop prioritized account growth plans, including annual forecasting and budget/liliManage account profitability profit contribution/liliDeliver assigned sales KPIs (call/visit frequency and reporting, Opportunity targets and updates, revenue, margin, prospect accounts, maintaining clean CRM data)/liliCRM compliance against Call Prep and Product Reporting Action items and account updates/liliComplete account coverage by Principal/liliActive participation in local industry events, trade associates, etc./liliExecute sales activity relative to slow/dead stock/liliMonitor contract balances and advise customers of inventory still to be shipped/li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliMinimum of one to three years experience in technical sales, distribution experience preferred but not required/liliB.S. Degree in Science, Food Science, Business or relevant field of study/liliProven experience in organizing sales calls and schedules, and evidence of detailed reporting is required/liliProven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships/liliProven track record in developing new sales and accounts/li/ulpCompetencies:/pulliBusiness Acumen/liliProblem Solving/Analysis/liliCustomer/Client Focus/liliCommunication Proficiency/liliTeamwork Orientation/li/ulpSupervisory Responsibility:/ppThis position has no supervisory responsibilities./ppWork Environment:/ppThis job currently operates in a remote work environment./ppPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:/ppThis is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed.
