Position Summary:

The Admissions and Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting the institution’s academic programs, recruiting prospective students, providing individualized guidance, and managing the admissions process from initial contact through enrollment. This role also supports institutional marketing efforts, participates in outreach and recruitment activities, and provides front-line administrative and reception support as needed to ensure operational continuity and enrollment growth.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Promote academic programs through internal and external marketing activities.

·        Provide individual and group orientations to prospective students regarding programs, admissions requirements, and institutional services.

·        Manage and follow up on the complete admissions cycle, from first contact through enrollment.

·        Collect, review, and validate required admissions documentation.

·        Coordinate referrals with Financial Aid, Registrar, and Finance offices to complete enrollment.

·        Participate in school visits, career fairs, community events, and institutional open houses.

·        Maintain accurate and updated prospect data in institutional systems and CRM platforms.

·        Prepare admissions and outreach reports as required.

·        Support reception duties, including phone coverage and visitor assistance.

Job Requirements:

·        Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in admissions, marketing, customer service, recruitment, or related roles.

·        Information Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with student information systems, preferably those used by Mech Tech Institute.

·        Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively represent the institution and its programs to various audiences.

·        Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact positively with prospective students, parents, and colleagues.

·        Organization and Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·        Knowledge of the Education Sector: Familiarity with admission processes and higher education trends.

·        Customer Service: Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to assist students and faculty in a professional and courteous manner.

·        Performs other duties consistent with the nature and level of the position, as required.

·        Ability to walk short distances to perform tasks.

·        Ability to move or lift objects (up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, or 10 lbs continuously).
