Supervisor, Underground Construction

Job Summary Underground Construction Supervisor required to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship. Responsible for overseeing Vermeer horizontal/directional drill rigs and plows, DCI F-5 locating equipment, and other equipment supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project. Must maintain efficient production and ensure the growth and protection of the network. Responsibilities Oversee drilling, locating, and installation activities on telecom projects. Maintain open communication flow between peer organizations. Ensure the team works effectively and efficiently under the manager’s direction. Support the company mission and protect the network infrastructure. Travel approximately 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites. Required Qualifications At least three years of drilling/locating experience. At least three years of underground utility construction experience. At least three years of telecommunication installation construction experience. Clean driving record. High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of city, county, and state clearance codes; ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams. Ability to read, write, and speak English; effective verbal and written communication. Strong communication, motivation, and leadership skills. Valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record; ability to travel 80% of the time. Preferred Qualifications At least five years of horizontal drill experience and practical experience with underground construction and equipment for conduit and fiber installation. OSHA safety certifications, operator qualifications, Class A CDL. Valid driver’s license. Compensation Base pay between $60,900.00 and $97,700.00.
