Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (NE)

Job Summary DP World is building a brand‑new operation in Moreno Valley, California and is looking for Shipping & Receiving Coordinators. The position is full‑time with a four‑day work week and multiple shift options available. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour with shift differential for eligible night shifts. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier paperwork. Schedule and communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments. Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery discrepancies. Enter and maintain accurate information in warehouse management and inventory systems. Track inventory movements and investigate inventory variances. Support dock operations and ensure timely loading and unloading activities. Prepare reports and maintain shipping and receiving records. Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and operations teams. Follow all safety, security, and quality procedures. Assist with special projects and startup activities as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, inventory control, or customer service. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment. Experience with transportation scheduling and carrier coordination. Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting processes. Startup operation experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures and noise levels.
