Talent Acquisition Consultant

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant with 5-8 years of hands‑on recruiting experience exclusively within the life sciences industry. This individual will own full-cycle recruiting for technical and scientific roles - partnering directly with hiring managers, building candidate pipelines, and delivering top talent across pharma, biotech, medical device, and/or clinical research functions. This is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor role requiring deep sourcing expertise and fluency in life sciences org structures, credentials, and terminology. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through offer and close) for roles across R&D, clinical, regulatory affairs, quality, manufacturing, and/or commercial functions within life sciences. Partner directly with hiring managers to define role requirements, build sourcing strategy, and set realistic timelines and market expectations. Proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, industry associations, conferences, and niche life sciences job boards. Screen candidates for technical qualifications, cultural fit, and career motivation; present shortlists with clear, defensible rationale. Guide candidates and hiring managers through interview scheduling, feedback loops, offer negotiation, and closing. Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and requisition records in the ATS; report on pipeline health and time-to-fill metrics. Build and maintain talent pools/pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill life sciences roles (e.g., PhD-level scientists, regulatory specialists, clinical operations leads). Serve as a subject-matter expert on life sciences talent markets - compensation benchmarks, competitor landscape, and candidate availability - advising internal stakeholders accordingly. Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience and represent the employer brand at every touchpoint. Stay current on industry trends, FDA/regulatory shifts, and market conditions affecting life sciences hiring. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, exclusively within life sciences (pharma, biotech, medical device, CRO, or related). Demonstrated success recruiting for technical/scientific roles (e.g., R&D, QA/QC, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, manufacturing, or commercial life sciences positions). Strong working knowledge of life sciences org structures, job families, credentialing, and industry-specific terminology. Proven direct-sourcing and passive-candidate engagement skills; comfortable building pipelines from scratch. Experience using an ATS and modern sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search). Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to consult with and influence hiring managers on strategy, not just execute requisitions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
