What Youll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
• Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
• Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify problems proactively.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and arc flash safety.
• Document maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Stay updated with advancements in relevant technologies through ongoing training.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training in ing.
• Strong technical skills in automation systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in welding.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and arc flash safety.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
