Production SupervisorShift: 2nd, 3 pm - 11 pm, M-FAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and support our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing a flexible, multiskilled workforce aligned with company values and operational goals.If you are a hands-on leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence, team development, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply.What You'll DoLead and supervise production employees to ensure efficient operations and high-quality product outputOrganize and schedule work based on employee skill sets, machine availability, and production demandsCoach, train, and develop team members in equipment operation, manufacturing techniques, safety, SPC, recycling, and company processesResolve machine, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operationsPromote and enforce a safe work environment by supporting safety initiatives, investigating incidents, and participating in safety committee activitiesCommunicate production performance, capacity concerns, and product issues with internal stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the production teamManage attendance, payroll, overtime, and paid time off recordsEnsure plant security and operational integrity during assigned shiftsSupport and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) following company standards and documented proceduresWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing methods and production workflowsExcellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsDependable with consistent and reliable attendancePreferred Qualifications:Experience in plastic extrusions manufacturingExperience in a union environmentWhy Join UsWe offer the opportunity to work in a collaborative manufacturing environment where leadership, safety, quality, and continuous improvement are valued.
