If youre highly technical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a role that blends compliance, engineering, and risk management, we want to talk to you.About the RoleAs a Cybersecurity Specialist, youll be responsible for overseeing our core security stack and ensuring our clients meet compliance and risk requirements. This role combines SOC/SIEM management, Microsoft 365/Azure security, MDR coordination, and audit/compliance program leadership.Youll work closely with the leadership team and technical consultants to improve client security posture, respond to evolving threats, and support external compliance obligations (HIPAA, NIST, etc.).Key ResponsibilitiesManage SOC and SIEM tools across client environmentsManage MDR operations , including incident review, escalation, and client responseAdminister and monitor Microsoft 365 and Azure security:Secure Score, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Defender for EndpointAlerts, logging, and policy enforcementLead compliance management programs (HIPAA, NIST CSF, CIS Controls)Support and prepare clients for third-party audits or assessmentsHelp define and enforce security policies, SOPs, and documentationCollaborate with internal IT consultants on best practices, secure deployments, and proactive improvementsReview security posture regularly and recommend improvementsWhat You BringExperience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or GRC in an MSP or IT services environmentHands-on experience with:MDR, Microsoft 365 Defender, Secure Score, and Azure ADSIEM/SOC toolsEndpoint protection, MFA, and incident response workflowsFamiliarity with HIPAA, NIST CSF, or other regulatory standardsStrong documentation and client communication skillsSelf-motivated and capable of owning and improving security workflows independentlyBonus Skills & CertificationsMicrosoft certifications (SC-200, SC-300, MS-500)CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CASP+CISSP, CISA, or equivalent (a plus, not required)Experience with policy writing, vendor risk management, and audit prepBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offParental leaveFlexible scheduleTuition reimbursementProfessional development assistanceRetirement planWhy Us?Were a small, agile team where youll make a big impact.
