This position acts as a bridge between warehouse associates and supervisors, providing direction, support, and hands-on assistance to ensure productivity and accuracy in all warehouse activities.Warehouse Lead - Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and monitor the activities of warehouse associates to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members.Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods.Identify and resolve workflow or process issues to improve efficiency.Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational needs and updates.Perform regular quality checks and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits as required.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.Warehouse Lead - Qualifications:One to two years of related experience in a warehouse environmentPrior experience with material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickersFamiliarity with shipping practices and handling methodsExperience using handheld RF scan guns and basic computer skillsPositive and professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsCommitment to excellence and high standards with good oral communication skills and strong attention to detailPreferred a valid driver's licenseAbility to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirementsWork environment:Ability to be on feet for the entire shift with constant lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, etc. for 8+ hours at a time.Lift and move at least 75 pounds without assistance, up to 130 pounds with helpPick, pack, and stack 100-1000 boxes dailyEngage in climbing, sitting, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, overhead lifting, and stair climbingOperate and climb into forkliftsAbility to safely climb up and down stairs or steps to enter and exit industrial equipment and or trucksStand for extended periodsSafety footwear, such as steel toe or composite toe, is mandatoryMost work occurs in a warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levelsDock doors remain open, causing temperature fluctuationsSome areas may become dusty if products are stationaryAt Brame, we are committed to fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment through the EOS Management System.
