Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Oncology RN to provide specialized patient care in an infusion and oncology setting. This role involves delivering chemotherapy treatments and supporting patients through their cancer journey.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies following established protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments and responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
• Hold current AHA BLS certification.
• Obtain chemo certification prior to or during employment.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
