This role involves developing and managing data infrastructure and analytical tools to support various departmental needs. The professional will work across engineering, modeling, and analytics to enable effective data-driven decision-making within the organization. Responsibilities:
- Build and automate data pipelines and processes to facilitate optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources using SQL, Python, and other technologies.
- Provide analytical insights to inform operational and strategic decisions across domains such as VBP, Revenue & Expense, and Ambulatory Care.
- Transform raw, disjointed data sets into efficient data models suitable for reporting, tracking, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues, support their analytical needs, and automate manual processes for improved efficiency.
- Prepare and develop recurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical tools, including those using data from EPIC, for management use.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, validation rules, and datasets to support operational resilience and data integrity.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Analytics, or a related field.
- Possess at least 1 year of relevant experience or 4 years of experience in data analytics, software programming, or related areas.
- Demonstrate proficiency with SQL, relational databases, Python, and data pipeline tools such as ETL/ELT.
- Have experience with Tableau and advanced Excel features.
- Knowledge of healthcare data, especially EPIC, is preferred.
