- Assess patients in either an inpatient or outpatient setting and develop personalized treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and function
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
- Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credentials from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification preferred
- Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are favorable but not mandatory
- Prior experience preferred
- Capability to treat patients dealing with complex medical and mobility challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with digital record-keeping and clinical documentation systems
