Work Environment\n This position is fully remote, offering flexible working conditions while allowing you to engage with clients through telehealth. Although primarily virtual, you’ll also have access to our outpatient office in Naperville when in-person sessions are required or preferred. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients’ mental health symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. \n Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n Monitor and document client progress meticulously, employing appropriate adjustments to treatment plans to enhance therapeutic outcomes. \n Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, fostering a supportive environment for understanding and self-care practices. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, promoting a holistic approach towards treatment. \n Stay updated on research developments within the field of mood disorders and implement best practices to improve therapy strategies. \n Participate in case consultations, team discussions, and continuous professional development to elevate the quality of care we provide. \n Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, addressing issues such as stigma while fostering inclusive and respectful treatment for marginalized populations. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will engage with vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing essential therapy and support tailored to their unique circumstances.
