Clinical Research Project Manager

Summary Responsible for executing on a daily basis the procedural, managerial and policy decisions made for the studies. Participates in all decisions made for the studies and identifies modifications of existing policies and procedures. Responsible for budget oversight and participates in grant writing and proposals. Does this position require Patient Care? No. Essential Functions Coordinate and implement research design process and study protocols at one or multiple sites. On a daily basis, execute the procedural, managerial, and policy decisions made for the studies. Help prepare IND applications for scheduled substances. Participate in all decisions made for the studies and formulate policies and procedures. Identify modifications needed and implement solutions. Develop and oversee project budgets. Participate in grant writing and proposals. Serve as the primary contact for outside vendors used to ensure efficient operation of the studies. Oversee all supplies, equipment and files. Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required. Experience Research-related experience 3–5 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity with FDA regulations for investigating scheduled drugs in clinical trials. Strong organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated analytical skills.
