PM Houseperson

Responsibilities:

• Cleans public areas, lounges, lobbies, bathrooms, and hallways
• Vacuum and wash carpets and rugs
• Empty wastepaper baskets and ashtrays
• Transport trash to waste disposal equipment
• Dust and polish wooden surfaces and furniture
• Replenish Housekeeping supplies in storage closets
• Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and always ensuring

a professional appearance and attitude

• Responsible for courteous, efficient response always
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service calls, delivering amenities,

linens, towels, cribs, rollaway beds, and other requested items with professionalism and courtesy. * Support the Housekeeping team by collecting and distributing linens, removing trash and soiled linen, stocking housekeeping closets, and assisting Room Attendants as needed. * Perform daily housekeeping service in occupied guest rooms and clean vacant guest rooms as needed to support department operations and maintain service standards. Skills: * Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be proactive in handling problems, including anticipating,

preventing, identifying and solving issues as necessary. Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working in a housekeeping environment
• Experience in a hotel is a plus.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts including overnights, weekends and

holidays

• Exhibits a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.
• Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Reliable and have a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to lift and carry upwards to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on

a regular basis.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Standards, as required by

scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Comply with Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel

operations. The anticipated pay range for this position is between $20.00-22.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
