We are building a distributed operating system, SwoopOS, that decomposes the world's equipment into a distributed robotic embodiment upon which a new generation of distributed systems, autonomous systems, and agentic AI can be built and deployed using our SDK, Valhalla, and operated via our browser, Surf. This is a hybrid position that requires someone based in Minneapolis/St. Paul who can work in-office 3+ days per week.What You'll Do:Package and automate our Platform, which includes Linux and Kubernetes software, to deploy on bare metal and the cloud, in both internet-connected and secure air gap environmentsDevelop CI pipelines and test automation for the deployment of our Platform softwareAssist developers with Linux and Kubernetes issuesAssist deployment engineers with Platform issuesManage and monitor development CI resources that run the Platform using the test automationYou Should Have:Bash/shell and python scripting experienceDeep knowledge of KubernetesA propensity to automate everything you doThorough experience with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise LinuxLinux based Containerization such as DockerExperience working both in the terminal and with user interfaces required for managing IT resourcesFamiliarity with virtualization technologies, creating and managing VMs using industry standard tools such as VMWare, Proxmox, and KVMExperience managing backup resources, snapshots, and conducting failover eventsExperience using git version control and DevOps software such as GitlabExperience creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesAbility and willingness to obtain a US Security ClearanceBonus if you have:Experience in hardening infrastructure resources such as STIGing and firewall work.Ansible, Terraform, and AWS experienceNetworking expertiseExperience packaging internal and internet-based software to work in air gap environmentsExperience developing and deploying Kubernetes Helm chartsSwoop Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
