Interventional Radiology Technologist

Role Overview Provides high-quality radiologic procedures in interventional and diagnostic settings, including Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Catheterization, and Electrophysiology labs. Role Overview Provides high-quality radiologic procedures in interventional and diagnostic settings, including Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Catheterization, and Electrophysiology labs. Key Responsibilities Prepares sterile setups, assembles instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials per procedure requirements. Assists physicians with catheterization, ballooning, coil placements, and treatments. Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols. Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies. Maintains equipment and workspaces for safety and cleanliness. Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards. Fulfills additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience post-education, with 6 months in IR/Cath lab/EP preferred. Completion of an accredited radiography program; ARRT registration in Radiography and Vascular Interventional required. Knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal procedures. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, plan, and organize work effectively. Current BLS certification; new graduates must obtain registry within 120 days. Physical & Environmental Demands Light to moderate physical activity, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and continuous standing and walking. Ability to handle various physical tasks and sensory requirements, with environmental exposure to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and radiation anticipated. #J-18808-Ljbffr Health, Inc
