CarpenterWe are seeking skilled Carpenters to support a variety of residential and commercial construction projects throughout Belvidere and Rockford areas. This position offers the opportunity to work on new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and remodeling projects while performing a wide range of carpentry tasks from framing to finish work.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction, strong knowledge of carpentry methods, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.ResponsibilitiesPerform carpentry work on residential and commercial construction projectsComplete wood and metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, and structural componentsInstall doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry elementsHang, install, and repair drywall as neededRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsMeasure, cut, and assemble building materials accuratelyOperate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safelyAssist with layout, demolition, and general construction activitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure projects stay on scheduleEssential SkillsPrevious carpentry experience in residential, commercial, or mixed construction environmentsExperience working on remodels, renovations, and ground-up construction projectsExperience with wood framing, metal stud framing, and general carpentry workAbility to read tape measures, construction plans, and project drawingsProficient with common hand tools and power toolsStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to lift construction materials and perform physical work throughout the dayReliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as neededFinish carpentry experience, including doors, trim, and interior finishesOSHA 10 CertificationWhy Work Here?You will join a growing company that offers long-term work and steady project flow across a wide range of construction and remodel jobs.
