Position Summary:

The Shipping Clerk works in a high paced production environment and is highly motivated to ensure patients and healthcare practitioners receive medications in a timely manner. The Shipping Clerk supports the pharmacy by maintaining pharmacy workflow and meeting shipping deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares shipping labels and packaging to ensure correct delivery to patients
• Investigates incorrect delivers and lost packages

• Verifies addresses using internal system (ie LifeFile)

• Utilizes the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery

• Communicates with the Billing department as needed for specific orders

• Ensures the shipping area is always clean and organized
• Completes special projects assigned by supervisor

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-mask and meet deadlines with little supervision
• Strong data entry skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work individually or in a team environment
• Excellent attendance and punctuality records
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for 8-10 hour shifts
• Able to frequently bend and squat for 8-10 hour shifts

Experience and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years related experience in a high-volume, commercial shipping
• Pharmacy technician experience is preferred but NOT REQUIRED
• Minimum of two (2) years of proven shipping experience preferably within Pharmacy, Prescriptions and/or health related setting

Work Requirements:

• Position is based in the Company’s West Palm Beach, Florida location and requires regular onsite attendance due to the operational responsibilities of the role.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the West Palm Beach area or relocate prior to the start of employment.
• Day shift availability is required.
• Must be available to work weekends and additional hours as needed based on operational requirements.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-9 hour shifts, occasional Saturdays, as needed

Pay/ Compensation: $16- $18/ hour

Work Location: In-Person at our West Palm Beach, FL location.

Ability to Commute/ Relocate: Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to the West Palm Beach area before starting work.
