Join a dynamic team at a third-party logistics provider specializing in the storage, handling, and distribution of tires and tracks. We are seeking dedicated warehouse workers to manage receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipments for tire manufacturers. Be part of a new and growing team in our newly established warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipments for tire manufacturers.
• Operate forklifts, including sit-down propane forklifts, to move and organize inventory.
• Utilize ERP systems for inventory management and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading shipments.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking using RF scanners.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in forklift operations, particularly sit-down propane forklifts.
• Experience with inventory control and SAP ERP systems.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized warehouse facility with a clean environment due to its recent establishment. The non-AC environment requires adaptability to hot and cold conditions. Join a team of 8 individuals, with plans for expansion. Day shift hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with potential for overtime. Dress code includes covered shoes, work shirt, and jeans, with no hats or jewelry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
