Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM Fri: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM Sat: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM Sun: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or community amenities in accordance with site expectations, helping to support authorized entry and report suspicious or unauthorized activity. Assist with routine security-related reporting, shift communications, and/or coordination with property management and emergency services when needed. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
