Machine Operator

Shift/Hours:
Training (Must be open to either training schedule) - Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm -or- 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm(4 weeks in training)
Regular Days - 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Rotating shifts

Regular Nights - 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, Rotating shifts
Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour
Location: Marietta, GA 30062
Experience: 2+ years of Manufacturing experience.

**Must pass client mechanical assessment prior to being considered**

Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of production equipment. This includes machine setup, monitoring, product verification, roll inspection, and accurate documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Set up and adjust production machinery according to specifications and perform routine adjustments to maintain machine accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure each machine is running efficiently and producing quality products.
• Maintain proper machine alignment for consistent material feed.
• Move finished orders with a pallet jack to the packaging staging area.
• Measure and make adjustments to customer specs.
• Read work orders and monitor machines.
• Accurately update work orders and complete all shift paperwork.
• Provide QC samples for approval.

Machine Operator Skills:

• High level of mechanical inclination.
• Math skills for measurements and calibrations.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration and teamwork.
• Work stationary performing repetitive tasks.
• Prior heavy manufacturing experience preferred - metal industry a plus.

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Flexibility to move between teams or shifts as business needs change.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to stand, bend, lift and twist for the entire shift duration.
• Must be able to move 50-100 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Able to provide 2 professional references.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
