You Have: 5+ years of experience working in defense engineering, sustainment, or maintenance organization working as a corrosion engineerKnowledge of corrosion mechanisms, such as galvanic, pitting, environmental, or stress corrosion cracking, and the implementation of corrosion prevention and control programsKnowledge of aircraft and defense corrosion standards, including airworthinessAbility to analyze corrosion data, findings, trends, and recommendations within a complex aircraft enterprise to develop a portfolio approach in corrosion prevention and controlSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Corrosion EngineeringNice If You Have: 5+ years of experience working as an aerospace corrosion engineer particularly in mixed‑material, low‑observable aircraft structuresExperience with corrosion‑related databases, analysis pipelines, or dashboardsExperience developing and implementing corrosion prevention and control programs (CPCP) that meet regulatory requirementsAbility to use Power BI or other data evaluation tools and methodsMaster's degree in Corrosion Engineering or a Corrosion-related fieldAssociation of Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) in Corrosion CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
