Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to surgical patients in a Medical Surgical unit. Ensure patient safety, promote recovery, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health management.
• Adhere to compliance and safety standards to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid active nursing license in the relevant state.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate minimum of one year of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and 12-hour shifts.
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or appropriate vaccination/declination documentation.
