AR Specialist | Bradenton, FL | $23-$27/hr+


The AR Specialist will step into a hands-on billing and collections role in a high-energy, fast-moving environment where not every process is fully defined - so adaptability, ownership, and comfort with shifting priorities are just as important as technical AR skills. If you have solid service billing experience, are comfortable with collections follow-up, and can hit the ground running in a dynamic environment, this is a well-compensated engagement with a company that has real momentum behind it.


Key Responsibilities

• Own service billing from end to end - ensuring invoices are generated accurately and on time based on completed service work.
• Post payments across payment types and maintain accurate AR records.
• Support collections activity - following up on outstanding balances, communicating with customers professionally, and escalating as appropriate.
• Coordinate with service managers and operational staff to resolve billing discrepancies or missing information.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, post-acquisition environment where processes are actively being built and refined.
• Work across field service management and ERP platforms to ensure billing data is accurate and complete across systems.

Requirements

• Service billing experience - you have processed invoices generated from service tickets or work orders and understand how field-based billing works.
• Experience posting payments and supporting collections follow-up.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where not all processes are established and priorities can shift - this is not a fully structured, steady-state role.
• Fully in-office availability in Bradenton, FL.
• Ability to start quickly with minimal ramp time.

Preferred

• Familiarity with a cloud-based ERP system.
• Background in field services, facilities maintenance, construction, or a trades-based billing environment.
• Comfort operating in a post-acquisition or integration environment where systems and workflows are actively evolving.
