Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs Advertising & Promotion - Oncology

Associate Director leading regulatory strategy for oncology advertising and promotion at AbbVie. Oversees cross-functional teams, manages departmental operations, and develops complex regulatory initiatives with minimal direction. Based in one of four US headquarters locations on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Set strategy and lead cross-functional, multidisciplinary therapeutic teams on multidivisional initiatives
- Manage departmental operations, workflow, assignments, and staff development with minimal oversight
- Maintain productivity metrics and project current and future business needs
- Collect and analyze industry issues and trends to identify cross-organization opportunities
- Develop and implement complex processes; deliver strategic presentations to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science discipline; Master's, Ph.D., or Pharm.D. preferred
- 8+ years pharmaceutical experience (or 5+ years with Pharm.D.) including advertising and promotion
- Oncology experience preferred
- Direct responsibility and solid understanding of regulatory advertising and promotion regulations
- Experience working in complex, matrix organizational environments
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Management experience preferred
