Job Overview Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) for a travel nursing assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. Specialty & Details Specialty: PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Summary This assignment lasts 13 weeks, scheduled to start on July 17, 2026. Desired experience, certifications, and licensure are required as listed below. Experience and Specialty Requirements Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for, preferably in a single location. Minimum 18 months recent Pediatric experience; travel experience may satisfy the requirement. Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care of patients up to 25 years. Licensure Permanent Ohio license or a compact state license active at submission. Compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward. Certifications AHA or American Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) – required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required. NIHHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – preferred. Assessments ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion during orientation – acceptable score required. Maximum two attempts allowed; failure results in assignment cancellation. References and Compliance Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for; co‑worker references not considered. References must be from assignments within the past 12 months. Background checks are reviewed; no open cases or license hits accepted. Additional Compliance COVID‑19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical or religious exemption only). Negative 10‑panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and annually thereafter. Nicotine‑free facility requirements exempt for nurses and CSTs. Other Requirements Effective 9/30/22; nicotine‑free facility exemption is temporary and honored until further notice.
