We're looking for a motivated Territory Manager to help grow our business, support our customers, and expand our presence in the market.

Available Territories

• West Territory
  • Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California, and Arizona.
  • Remote candidates in Arizona, Kansas, Idaho, and Utah will be considered.
• East Territory
  • Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
  • Remote candidates in Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky will be considered.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Grow Your Territory

• Develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
• Identify and pursue qualified prospects
• Build strategic account plans to increase market share
• Expand relationships within existing customer accounts

Consultative Equipment Sales

• Understand customer operations, needs, and challenges
• Recommend equipment and solutions that improve customer outcomes
• Conduct product demonstrations and equipment presentations
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales documentation
• Negotiate and close sales opportunities

Build Trusted Relationships

• Become a valued advisor to customers
• Maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process
• Support customers before, during, and after equipment purchases
• Partner with internal teams to ensure customer success

Represent Bergkamp

• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity
• Increase awareness of Bergkamp products and solutions
• Promote our brand and customer value proposition

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of outside sales, territory sales, equipment sales, or business development experience
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to travel overnight up to 50%
• Valid driver's license
• Experience working independently in a territory-based role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Heavy equipment sales experience
• Construction equipment sales experience
• Industrial equipment sales experience
• Pavement preservation or road construction industry experience
• Manufacturing, infrastructure, contractor, municipal, or public works sales experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
• Ability to work in various weather and field conditions when visiting customer locations
