Pediatrics Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) to join our growing pediatric team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care to infants, children, and adolescents within a highly efficient, supportive, and well-managed clinical environment. This growth-driven position offers the unique flexibility to design your own scheduling templates while working alongside an experienced lead physician.

Schedule & Balance

• True Work-Life Balance: Full-time schedule consists of a 4 or 4.5-day work week .
• Clinical Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
• Friday Early Out: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM (with no patients scheduled after 11:30 AM ). Enjoy an early start to your weekendour founder is typically out the door by 1:00 PM on Fridays.
• Daily Admin Time: Dedicated lunch and administrative hour every Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM 1:00 PM.
• Light Phone-Only Call: Low-volume, phone-only rotation of 1:3 . Weekdays are exceptionally quiet; weekends average a mere 0 to 3 calls total. A $25 fee for late-night calls (9:00 PM 6:00 AM) keeps non-emergent disruptions rare.
• No Hospital Rounding: Purely outpatient care.

The Opportunity

• Boutique Patient Panel: Serve a wonderful, engaged local demographic with a robust newborn population, toddlers, and young families (no Medicaid panel).
• Manageable Patient Volume: Comfortably see an average of 20 patients per day (capped at 25 on peak busy days).
• Autonomy: Providers enjoy the freedom to collaborate with Dr. Williams to help shape and set their preferred scheduling rhythm.
• Efficient Pacing: 20-minute well-child visits and 10-minute sick/follow-up visits.
• State-of-the-Art Support: Work out of 23 dedicated exam rooms utilizing highly optimized Athena EMR templates. You will be fully supported by an expert 1:1.5 MA-to-provider ratio (including a float MA) and an intake nurse, allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a dedicated interest or experience in pediatrics.
• Experience Level: Open to both experienced APPs and New Graduates . Dr. Williams is eager and happy to provide comprehensive, hands-on training and clinical mentorship.
• Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in common pediatric pathologies (newborn care, well-checks, ADHD management, minor acute injuries). Suturing skills are a plus, but not required.
• Language: Professional proficiency in Spanish is highly valued, though not mandatory.
