Number of Beds: 30

Patient Ratios: 1:6

Unit Staffing Description: Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management

Type of Equipment: Walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, etc

Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 28 day schedule, fall into holiday rotation

Floating Policy: Fall into rotation with other staff

Patient Experience Requirements: 72% - utilizing communication boards

Requested Skill Set: RN license

Must Have: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration and communication skills

Advanced Skills Needed: Medical-Surgical experience (including experience with various respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, GI illnesses/diseases, tele, CVCs, indwelling catheters, heparin gtts, etc)

Procedures Performed on Unit:

Certifications Required: BLS

Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
