Radiology - Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - University of Connecticut (UCONN).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with OR, ED, ortho, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray, trauma, and neonatal radiography required.

Special Requests: All time off required at time of submission.

Unit Details: Performs orthopedic and general diagnostic x-rays, including OR (C-arm) and fluoroscopy; required to work in surgery. Uses GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment, including portable x-ray units and C-arms such as Ziehm and OEC 3D.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri with rotating schedule; start times may vary 2:30p-3:30p, every 4th weekend. Call required as needed with 30-60 minute response time. Mandatory overtime.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
