Recruitment Coordinator

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Experience Level: Junior / Early Career About the Opportunity A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an organized, energetic Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator to support its Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of recruiting, HR coordination, staffing, or high-volume administrative experience who is looking to grow their career in Talent Acquisition. The Junior Recruiter / Coordinator will support hiring for both high-volume and skilled manufacturing positions, including assemblers, machinists, technicians, and other plant-based roles. The position will also manage interview scheduling, candidate communication, pre-employment requirements, and recruiting administration. Key Responsibilities Post manufacturing and skilled-trades openings across job boards, social media, community resources, and other recruiting channels. Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. Conduct preliminary phone screens to evaluate: Basic job qualifications Schedule requirements Candidate interest Coordinate high-volume interviews between candidates, hiring managers, supervisors, and operations leaders. Manage recruiting calendars and provide interview confirmations and reminders. Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process. Coordinate plant tours, interviews, onboarding activities, and required paperwork. Support pre-employment requirements including: Background checks Reference checks Drug screening Physical or medical testing, where required Maintain accurate candidate records, interview status updates, and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Prepare recruiting reports and assist with tracking open positions, candidate pipelines, and hiring activity. Partner with recruiters, HR, and plant leadership to ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience. Support additional recruiting and HR-related projects as needed. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, staffing, administrative support, or a related field. Manufacturing, industrial staffing, skilled-trades recruiting, or high-volume hiring experience is preferred. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruiting databases. Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort working with online scheduling and communication tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with hourly candidates, shift workers, recruiters, supervisors, and plant leadership. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Professional, responsive, and candidate-focused approach. Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
