Signature CT PRO Golf Tournament Location: Cromwell, CT Key Dates: Wednesday 6/24 through Sunday 6/28 Weekend availability is incredibly important for this event Although full availability for the full event is preferred, it is not required. ⏰ Great Hours! Day Shifts | Approx. 8–9 hrs each What You Will Be Doing A uniform shirt and assignment will be given to you upon arrival on your first day. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. REQUIREMENTS: Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred. Experience as a cook or related role required. Ability to work independently with limited supervision required. Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage. Food safety certification required. Demonstrates basic math and counting skills. Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
